The Organizing Committee of Bahrain e-Content Award (BEA) announced that Arab Open University (AOU) won Arab e-Content Award 2009 for the category of e-learning.

 In this effect, the Kingdom of Bahrain�s e-Government Authority, the sponsor of the Bahrain e-Content Award (BEA), will hold the award ceremony on Monday, 25th May 2009 at Isa Cultural Centre, Kingdom of Bahrain.

The award ceremony will be held under the patronage of H.E Shaikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of SCICT Committee, as a part of the inauguration ceremony events of Bahrain International e-Government Forum 2009, which will be attended by dignitaries from international organizations such as the United Nations, Arab and GCC countries and a number of some European countries in addition to VIPs from the international private sector.
